Jimmy Miller parks a recording truck next to Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg's Blue Coast villa, and by June the band is in the basement a few days at a time. Before Bad Brains, the Sex Pistols or even the Ramones, there was Death. But it wasnât until recently â when a dusty 1974 demo tape made its way out of Bobbyâs attic nearly 30 years after Deathâs heyday â that anyone outside a small group of punk enthusiasts had even heard of them.
"Touring makes you crazy," Frank Zappa says, explaining that the idea for this film came to him while the Mothers of Invention were touring.
